Stratford Girls’ Grammar School is a selective girls' 11 to 18 school with about 710 girls on roll currently - although we are expanding. The school added an extra form of entry in September 2013, and will grow to about 800 by 2017. We are, therefore, still small enough as a secondary school to ensure that all the girls are known to us. Pupils are drawn from an extremely wide catchment area: there is a priority circle with a 17 mile radius, and we also attract students from further afield - from Solihull to Banbury, Evesham to Kenilworth. Please select one of the links on the left to find out more about us.
We are proud to be a single-sex girls' school, and always keen to promote girl-power! We firmly believe that girls thrive in a nurturing all-girls' environment, developing self-esteem and the confidence to take on leadership roles - and research has shown that girls can and do achieve better academically in single-sex schools, too. We are members of the Association of State Girls' Schools and their leaflet can be downloaded below.
